It consists of 100% Perfluorohexyloctane (EyeSol), a unique molecule that replicates the function of the tear film's natural oil layer.

How It Works

Most dry eye issues (around 90%) are caused by a faulty outer lipid (oil) layer, which allows the eye's natural moisture to evaporate too quickly. Hycosan Shield forms a microscopic barrier over the tear film. This action limits evaporation, increases tear film thickness over time, and quickly relieves gritty or watery sensations.
