Gaviscon Advance Liquid is a remedy for indigestion, acid reflux and heartburn, helping to keep excess stomach acid under control and keeping irritation at bay. Gaviscon Advance Liquid is available in a delicious peppermint flavour and is perfect for those who struggle with indigestion or heartburn after eating spicy or fatty foods, or after drinking coffee or alcohol. It can also help those who are suffering from acid reflux because of a hiatus hernia or an inflamed food pipe.

Gaviscon Advance Liquid contains two active ingredients which work together to ease acid reflux and prevent heartburn. These ingredients are sodium alginate and potassium hydrogen carbonate. This means that they form a thick layer over the contents of your stomach, keeping excess stomach acid from moving up into your food pipe and causing irritation.

Each 10 ml contains sodium alginate 1000 mg and potassium hydrogen carbonate 200 mg

I have bipositional GERD and LPR the last 5 1/2 months. I have tried so many RX and OTC's for help. I read about Gaviscon Advance from a LPR FB group. I immediately ordered and have had great success! I wish my doctor would have told me about this alginate first hand and I let him know. What's available to us in the US can't compare to Gaviscon Advance!

I'm extremely grateful to be able to get this fabulous product shipped to me in the U.S. I was on tablets for years to treat severe acid reflux but had to wean off because of negative side effects. Unfortunately, going off the tablets led to reflux that was worse than ever. Sleeping was impossible because the moment I laid down, acid flowed into my throat and sinuses. It was so extreme that it led to a serious illness that lasted 3 months and affected my breathing. The constant acid was also damaging my throat, which is pretty frightening when you're a singer. So when I say I can't live without Gaviscon Advance, those aren't just words...I truly mean it. This product helps me live and sleep normally, as well as be able to sing again. I love it and especially love that it has zero side effects. The peppermint taste is also fantastic.

I was having so much reflux that I wasn't able to sleep for well over a week. It was aldo affecting my voice, which isn't good for a singer. Someone on a chat board mentioned Gaviscon Advance and so I tried it. This product saved my voice and my life. I take it EVERY night so I can sleep without problems. Gaviscon Peppermint Oral Suspension is a lifesaver and an absolute necessity for me. I used it EVERY single night at bedtime so I can sleep; otherwise, I've got stomach contents coming up and getting in my sinuses. I made the mistake of trying to sleep without it and ended up with a severe sinus infection that culminated in 3.5 months of horrific bronchitis. Never again. Good stuff for gerd. Eliminates the need for ppi’s and h2 blockers except for occasional flairs. Wish they would approve it for pharmacies here but fda reviewers were either dense or lobbied by ppi makers. Anyway, it arrived in good condition and the only problem was the post office here did not have a scanned shipping label in usa so had to call them to get it delivered, kinda late. Not sure what happened there. 🙂

Absolutely like Gaviscon advance! I have bipositional GERD and LPR. I’m so grateful that this is easily available from British Parmacare. I have tried other alginates but Gaviscon Advance is far superior. I take after meals and before bedtime and my GERD, LPR, burning/painful throat, throat spasms and throat lump gone in 3 days. I haven’t eaten solid food in 19 weeks and I have begun my journey to reintroduce foods thanks to Gaviscon Advance.
